Brač is an island located on the Adriatic Sea and is a part of Croatia. It has a total area of 396 km², which makes it the third largest island in the Adriatic. Surrounded by some tall peaks including Vidova Gora, or Mount St. Vid, at 778 m, Brač offers irresistible and panoramic views of the island. The total population of the island is approximately 13,000, in small towns like Bol, Škrip, Supetar, Pučišća, Postira, Splitska, Nerežišće, Milna, Donji Humac, Gornji Humac, Mirca, Dol, Sumartin, Sutivan, etc. The economy of Brač depends mostly on tourism but there is a side economy controlled mostly by fishing and agriculture. Brač is famous for its goats, wine and olive oil.
